- When you create an account: your name, email address and password. We store your password only in scrambled form, so we cannot read it.
- When you use the site while logged in: your practice answers, scores and dates; which lessons you finished; the Writing answers you save; and any notes or links you save for Speaking.
- If you ask for a teacher review: the teacher sees your name, email and the answer you sent, and writes band scores and tips for you.

- to save your practice and show your progress;
- to let a teacher review your Writing when you ask;

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you log in, your browser keeps a login token and your name and email in its local storage so you stay logged in. Logging out removes them.
